Mondays 5:15 - 6:45: Kundalini Yoga - enjoy an energizing but grounding Kundalini yoga practice
Mondays: 7 - 8:30pm Hatha Yoga - this is a beginner level practice including stretching, yoga postures, breathing practices and mindfulness meditation
Wednesdays: 7 - 9pm - Hatha Yoga and Meditation: In this class we focus on meditation as well as hatha yoga postures and breathing practices.
Saturdays: 8:30 - 10:00am - Hatha Yoga: We start with mindfulness meditation, practice hatha yoga postures, breathing practices.
10:00 - 11:30am - Kundalini Yoga

ONE EARTH SANGHA MEETINGS
Meditation: Dates for One Earth Sangha Meetings for 2018: January 7th, 21st; February 4, 18th, March 4th, 18th; April 1st, 15, 29th, May 13, 27; June 10, 24th, . Sangha meditation practices are supportive and open to all - for people who have just started meditating and for people with more experience. We sit together and support one another with our own silent meditation practice. The format for One Earth Sangha is inspired by the Sangha groups following the tradition of Thich Nhat Hanh. Our first meeting occurred in the fall of 2011. We meet two times per month and share in the leadership as a co-operative. We share readings from the wisdom of meditative traditions, tea, and conversation. . Enjoy discussion and a cup of tea. Time: 4 - 6pm. Cost: Free of charge
Yoga Teacher Training Professional Development workshop: with Paola di Paolo. Date: January 27 - 28th; Time: Saturday: 12:30 - 4:30pm & Sunday 10am - 1pm At this workshop, we will focus on a review of the anatomy of the spine and breathing. We will return to the basic elements of our approach to yoga: grounding, breathing, and mindfulness. Return to these simple principles in your own exploration of the poses at this workshop and then reflect on how to teach from these principles. Time will also be given to renewing how to adjust poses for student's needs. Bring questions, thoughts and share your experiences. Yoga and Meditation over the holidays: Enjoy a daily hath & Kundalini yoga practice over the holidays - centre, balance, release, and take time for meditation. From Wednesday, December 20th to Tuesday December 27th, Time: 9:30 -11am. Cost: By donation.
Half Day Sitting Meditation Retreat: December 30th: Enjoy Zazenkai - a sitting meditation retreat - in the Zen tradition offered by
Ven. Jim Jiang-Wen Kearse 将稳 at Four Directions Yoga Studio.
Time: 8:45am – 12:15 plus light lunch
Enjoy the calming rhythms of a Zen service, followed by two silent meditation sittings and walking meditation. After the workshop, share a vegan lunch and tea. Meditation cushions and chairs will be provided.

Venerable Jim Jiang-Wien Kearse has been an ordained Zen monk with the Order of Engaged Buddhists since 2013. He also serves as the Director of Education and as the Archivist within the Order of Engaged Buddhists. Jim enjoys bringing the dharma practice and teachings to people within the community.
